Anya Council, owner of Anya Renise Design Group is amongst Miami’s most prominent Interior & Exterior Designers. Her firm is one of the region’s most creative and versatile boutique design firms. Anya has been featured at The Miami Home Show located at The Miami Beach Convention Center where she was one of four designers selected to design a vignette showcasing her work. She was also invited and participated in the 2016 TPIE (Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition) Show, where she was one of three featured designers asked to create a vignette illustrating the importance of the role plants play in interior spaces. She has been invited back to participate in the upcoming TPIE Show for 2017 where she will have a larger role and will be responsible for designing all three vignettes featured at the show. Anya has been known for specializing in blurring the lines of interior and exterior spaces creating continuity making the entire project a cohesive whole. She has an appreciation for natural and organic form and continuously looks to nature for her inspiration. Anya knows that she offers a luxury service, however she feels that her art also has a practical side and she’s currently working on several philanthropy projects. She’s extremely passionate about giving back to the community and loves the opportunity to make a difference using her craft. Anya has over 11 years experience in the design field. She received a degree from Miami Dade College in Interior Design and a degree from Florida International University in Landscape Architecture. In 2014, she was selected and appeared on A&E’s FYI Network for a design renovation series. Anya is a member of the ASID Florida South Chapter. She has been asked to participate in several panel discussions on the latest design trends throughout the United States. Anya is also certified and has taught several Continuing Education Courses pertaining to the design field. She has an extensive knowledge and background in the natural components and manufacturing processes for several of the materials specified in her projects. She feels that completely understanding material and it’s process of either being naturally formed or engineered allows her to properly use the material as it was intended. This permits Anya to confidently design for her clients at ease when specifying material for both interior and exterior conditions.
